About Tyree Ag

Who We Are

Tyree Ag specializes in custom aerial and ground application services for crop and livestock producers in southcentral Kansas and northwest Oklahoma. We are:

  • An authorized Corteva Pioneer seed dealer
  • A Retail Partner for AgroLiquid Fertilizer
  • A supplier of a broad selection of crop protection and biostimulant products

We also partner with precision agricultural technologies to help our customers improve yields through more efficient use of their inputs.

Our History

Tim and Paige Tyree established Tyree Ag in the fall of 2000, beginning operations out of the Kinsley, KS airport in spring 2001 with aerial application services. Ground application services followed soon after, along with the start of our long-standing relationship with AgroLiquid Fertilizers.

Expansion timeline:

  • 2004 – Additional aerial locations acquired in Ashland and Larned, KS
  • 2006 – Major facility upgrades begin at Kinsley, including a new office and warehouse with adjoining fertilizer containment
  • 2008 – State-of-the-art hangar completed adjacent to the Kinsley airport
  • 2014–2016 – New office and warehouse facilities built in Laverne, OK, with both outside bulk fertilizer containment and inside containment for specialty products
  • 2020 – Additional aerial location added in Lyons, KS

Our modern facilities provide secure, environmentally friendly storage for seed, liquid fertilizer, and bulk and packaged crop protection products. All aerial and ground equipment is loaded indoors in contained areas, protected from central plains weather, using automated equipment that ensures accuracy and minimizes exposure to employees and the environment. Additional improvements are planned for other locations in the future.

Laverne, Oklahoma

Ground application and fertilizer/chemical delivery services began in Laverne several years after our Kansas operations launched. The Laverne facility, completed in 2016, includes:

  • Outside containment for bulk liquid fertilizer
  • Inside containment for specialty products like micronutrients and foliar fertilizers
  • Secure storage for crop protection products
  • Contained loading for ground application equipment
  • An attached office with improved workspace and meeting facilities

Recognition

Tyree Ag has been honored multiple times for environmental stewardship:

  • 2009 & 2010 – State winner, Environmental Respect Award (DuPont & CropLife Magazine)
  • 2011 – Regional Environmental Respect Award, one of five retailers recognized in Washington, D.C.
  • 2019 – Environmental Respect Award, highlighting our Laverne, OK facility

We continuously strive to be a leader in environmental sustainability and an advocate for modern agricultural production.

Our Purpose

In 2012, a small team of Tyree Ag employees set out to define the company's purpose statement. After many meetings and hours of discussion, they landed on it:

"To make your job easier."

In 2021, the team met again to further develop this value proposition. Today, Tyree Ag employees continue working together as a unified team — providing quality products and services with a high level of accountability and reliability, so we can deliver the most value to our customers' operations.
